That was my first though when I received Monika’s and Alois’ inquiry. The couple, both young at heart, celebrated their silver wedding anniversary (25 years) in Locarno.
As a wedding photographer, that was the first time for a silver wedding anniversary. I was extremely happy that they chose to book me.
The only hotel directly at the lakeshore is the Giardino Lago in Minusio. A wonderful choice made by the couple. The wedding guests met in the afternoon at the San Quirico Chapel, after starting off with a delicate lunch. In the chapel the couple renewed their vows to each other and went on to enjoy an appetiser with their guests at the terrace of their apartment and went for a walk under the moonshine back to Locarno before calling it a day
