Sidonie and Michel said yes to their civil wedding in the town house in Zug. As a wedding photographer in Zug I was allowed to capture this beautiful moment for eternity.
A good hour before the wedding ceremony we met in the Casino Zug. The bridal couple was accompanied by the maid of honor and her husband. From the Casino we had many possibilities to do the bridal couple shooting. We decided for the nearby Seebadi Seeliken. On the large wooden terrace you have a beautiful view of Lake Zug and the mountains. With good visibility you can see the Pilatus, the Rigi and also the Bernese Alps (Eiger, Mönch & Jungfrau).
With springlike temperatures and wonderful sunshine we enjoyed the time at the lake. It sounds very relaxing, that’s what it was. The bridal couple was always ready for a joke and really had fun. The time flew by. But we still wanted to spend time in the old town of Zug to take pictures there.
On the way back to the registry office we slowly walked back through the upper old town. From there mine has a good view to the Zytturm – the landmark of Zug. The blue-white hood can be seen from a distance.
The rest of the guests arrived back at the town house. It was a small company. In the wedding room the place is limited. The ceremony made some people smile :) For the international bridal couple there was also an extra translator present. As a small thank-you and reminder of the wedding ceremony, the newlyweds were presented with a Zuger Kirsch (a cherry liquor).
The big day was toasted in the “Felsenkeller” right next door. The bar is known for its huge selection of very good wines. Later, a stretch limo drove in front of the bar, which drove everyone to Küssnacht to the restaurant.
