WEDDING PHOTOS AT GUARDA VAL
As wedding photographer in the Lenzerheide I was allowed to accompany the dream wedding of Nici & Pete in the beautiful Graubünden.
For me as a wedding photographer it is almost a home game to photograph a wedding in the Maiensäss Hotel Guarda Val. The village of Sporz is a real quiet oasis. It is a little secluded from the hectic Lenzerheide. Perfectly situated for a beautiful, noble wedding celebration.
When we met we were immediately sympathetic. This is the prerequisite for an optimal “cooperation”. But it still took a few months until the wedding. A lot of planning and the creation of the decoration takes some time.
Now the big day had come.
Nici was styled in the Chalet Stailetta by Cosima from the Hairlounge Lenzerheide.
Pete enjoyed an aperitif with his colleagues in the sun. His preparations took much less time.
Now it’s about time for Pete too. Out of his casual clothes into his wedding suit. His best man helped with the cuff links. Pete’s hands were a little shaky. A sip from the flask calmed the nerves temporarily.
The wedding party drove to the church in Lain in two vintage postcars. The small village is only a short distance from Sporz. The roads are very narrow, but no problem for the chauffeurs.
Nici was led to the altar by her brother. The very emotional and touching wedding ceremony will be remembered by the bridal couple and all guests for a long time to come.
As a surprise the couple drove back to the Guarda Val after the church with a Tuktuk. A little below we stopped. A lush alp meadow was ideal for the couple photos. Beautiful flowers and a mountain panorama fit perfectly.
The newly wed couple was welcomed with soap bubbles in front of the restaurant. A rich aperitif buffet waited for the company. The programme included a delicate multi-course menu. Various very entertaining speeches gave a good change between the courses.
For the cake cut and the following party we changed to the Talvo-Saal.
Wedding DJ Benz really heated up the party. The exuberant wedding party lasted until the early hours of the morning.
