WEDDING PHOTOS BERGÜN
I was allowed to accompany the bridal couple Sonya and Pierino as wedding photographer in Bergün.
They had already been married a few months earlier. Now it should be a free and solemn ceremony with family and friends. They chose the Kurhaus as their festive location. What a great choice.
Bergün lies at the foot of the Albula Pass, the gateway to the Engadine. I already know Bravuogn/Bergün from running events, ski tours and of course the very famous sledding slope. Two months before I was already in the region. Already then I was looking forward to the wedding. Getting married at the end of September in the Engadine is just wow. Warm autumn days and golden colours. Autumn showed its best side. Although it was still quite fresh in the morning, the sunbeams warmed quickly.
For the photo shoot we chose the park around the hotel. The position of the sun was just perfect, so that the sunbeams could shine beautifully through the trees.
Already the first guests arrived and gathered in front of the main entrance.
We finished the photo session and the couple received the guests. Close friends and family members were invited. A small but fine company.
Meanwhile it had gotten really warm. The ceremony could take place outside. This was decided spontaneously according to the given temperatures. Behind the hotel there is a small pulpit where everyone found place. From a little distance I recorded discreetly beautiful moments.
Sonya and Pierino opened the aperitif in front of the hotel after the wedding ceremony.
A rustic flute concert in Schanfigger costume followed.
During the aperitif there were still few group photos. It was a very cosy get-together. In the evening the wedding dinner took place in the hotel.
